16:9 Advertisement

The client requested a video advert to introduce their new product. The goal was to create something fast-paced, fun, and engaging that would quickly capture attention and spark curiosity about the product.

Design Decisions:

I aimed for a tone that felt upbeat, exciting, and encouraging. This was achieved through quick transitions, dynamic motion, and a rhythm to keep viewers engaged. The colour palette reflects the brand’s identity — a blend of bright, playful tones mixed with natural, grounded hues. The typography was kept clear and bold to ensure readability, even with rapid on-screen movement.

Reflection & Challenges

I created a video that would grab attention and work seamlessly with upbeat and playful music. Using this as a base, I designed an additional three spin-off adverts tailored to the clients specific audiences (schools, parents & students). I kept the client’s brand in mind, focusing on a fun and energetic style that would stand out and engage viewers. Since I had previously created all the visual elements for the client (aside from a few stock images), I enjoyed this opportunity to explore creative ways to bring the assets to life.
